Like all Policies and Terms of Use documentation of Fashion Forward Apparel Canada inc. ("FFAC" with respect to fashionforwardcanada.com (the "Website", please read this policy carefully, as it contains information relevant to your purchase of products from the Website and forms a part of your agreement with FFAC pursuant to which you may purchase items from the Website.
General Care
To ensure your satisfaction with your purchase, please read all product descriptions, as provided on the Website, carefully. If purchasing a piece of clothing, you should have your exact physical measurements on hand when submitting your order. You should also pay careful attention to descriptions of materials used in the given clothing and also to any recommendations for its proper care. Also, if you purchase any items of Jewellery, you should always read the guidelines for care very carefully. Avoid contact with perfume, deodorant, hairspray or water. Avoid scratching your jewellery by storing in a non-abrasive box or pouch. Handle with care and do not apply any unnecessary force.
Product Options
Where made available to FFAC by the applicable Designer or manufacturer, FFAC will provide product option descriptions or colour swatches and other specifications and, using those descriptions, swatches, and specifications, you will be able to customize your order. However, you recognize that settings in individual computer monitors, and the responsiveness of those settings to digital source imagery will vary considerably from computer to computer. As a result, depictions, swatches, and specifications as made available on the Website and viewed by you on your particular computer may vary slightly from products actually delivered to you.
Return Notices
If you receive an order from FFAC that is either damaged or is not as you expected, you can return it to FFAC for a full refund, provided:
- You notify FFAC (the "Return Notice" of your intention to return the given items by sending an email message to: shop@fashionforwardcanada.com; and
- You return the given product to FFAC at your earliest opportunity and in no event later than the Return Delivery Times (as that term is defined below).
All Return Notices must include the given order number (provided to you at the time the order was made and confirmed) and a brief description of the reason for returning the given items. All Return Notices must also set out whether you would like a refund of the charged price for the returned items or if you would like a replacement product. In event that you return an item to FFAC, FFAC will either refund the charged price of your order or replace the item, if preferred, as you instruct in your return notification email message.
Costs of Return
Please note that if you return any item to FFAC, you will not be refunded any shipping costs, and you will remain responsible for the cost of return shipping. All items must be returned in the same condition as delivered and must be returned inside the box in which they were shipped to you.
Further, all returns are subject to a 10% re-stocking charge with a minimum charge of $15.00, plus additional amounts which may be assessed if the returned items are damaged or altered. If FFAC receives any returned items from you later than the Return Delivery Times, an additional restocking charge of 10% over and above the standard re-stocking charge, will apply.
Processing Time
All refunds or replacements issued in respect of returned goods will not be processed (and so not credited to your account or delivered to the carrier, as the case may be) until the returned goods are received by FFAC from you.
Return Delivery Times
The Return Delivery Times are as follows:
- In respect of orders from residents of continental North America, within 14 days of the date that FFAC receives the Return Notice; and
- In respect of orders from residents outside of continental North America, within 21 days of the date that FFAC receives the Return Notice.
Risk of Damage or Alteration
Important: Any item that you wish to return to FFAC will remain your responsibility and at your risk until it is physically received by FFAC. For that reason and for your protection, we recommend that you send all items for return to FFAC using Recorded or Registered Delivery and/or a delivery service that insures you for the full replacement value of the items. If for any reason the given item is not received by FFAC, you will not be credited any refund funds, and no replacement item will be sent to you. Further, if FFAC receives the returned item in a damaged, degraded, or altered condition, you will be charged for such damage, degradation, or alteration.
Return Form
FFAC will include with the delivery of your items a return form (the "Return Form". Please complete this form when returning items, and send it along with your returned items to FFAC’s address as indicated on your receipt. Failure to include the Return Form with your returned items may cause delays in processing the return and any corresponding refunds or replacements.
Trying On Items
When trying on items of clothing or jewellery, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume, deodorant, or other things or substances which may leave a scent or marks on the item. FFAC will not accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed, and for all purposes, FFAC will deem the application, whether intentional or unintentional, of any scents or other marks on any items as damage, degradation, and alteration of the items.
As described above, all items for return must be returned to FFAC in their original packaging and with any original labels intact.
Alterations
This Return Policy may be updated or changed from time to time, and you agree to review this Return Policy from time to time, and you further agree and acknowledge that you consent to and will be bound by all such future updates and changes to this Return Policy.
